2025.08.16 – Carnmoney Golf Club

D&K hired Lottie Weddings for full planning from the very beginning, initially envisioning their wedding on their family’s private property. As the planning evolved, we transitioned the celebration to Carnmoney Golf Course — the perfect backdrop for the fun, memorable, and high-energy experience they wanted to create for their friends and family.

Aesthetics and food were at the heart of their priorities, and blending elegance with an unforgettable party shaped every design choice. Although they weren’t sure about doing a first look, we encouraged them — and it became a standout moment. The bride completely embraced the idea and surprised the groomsmen with a hilarious “iced” first look that had everyone laughing and set the perfect tone for the day.

Their design focused on creating a timeless, impactful, and romantic ambiance inside the tent, brought to life with layers of twinkling lighting that transformed the space after sunset. They also added a shot wall for their favourite people, offering tequila, lemon drops, and rum shots — a detail no one will soon forget.

Working closely with Calyx Florals, the Lottie team custom-built their ceremony arch and crafted a fully tailored backdrop that flowed effortlessly into the reception design. Modern Rentals completed the look with elevated pieces that tied everything together. Every element was intentional, immersive, and deeply reflective of who D&K are as a couple — stylish, fun, and joyfully connected.
