Candlelit Intimacy in the Mountains

S&M travelled from Nashville to celebrate their love in one of their favourite places in the world — Banff. Initially inquiring about coordination, they ultimately chose our partial planning package, allowing for a deeply collaborative and detail-driven experience. Their shared love for travel and thoughtful design, they envisioned an intimate celebration of just 20–23 of their closest loved ones.

Their design keywords — contrasting, natural, intimate, minimalistic — guided every creative choice. We crafted a single long family-style dinner table lit entirely by candlelight, with more than 100 candles in layered tones of white, light grey, slate, charcoal, and black to add depth and mood. Suspended beneath a dramatic floral cloud and framed by the views at Tunnel Mountain, their reception felt luxurious, personal, and unforgettable.

S&M placed complete trust in our team, and watching how deeply they loved and uplifted one another made this wedding especially meaningful. Their celebration was small in size, powerful in intention, and beautifully captured — to be published in Rocky Mountain Bride as a testament to intentional, intimate design in the mountains.
